Islander
Footwear Manufacturing Corporation is a corporation
duly organized and established under the law of the Philippines.
It was incorporated on September 8, 1995.
The company was formed to engage in the manufacturing of quality
footwear, basically for the Philippine market. Its
manufacturing process involves from raw materials compounding
up to finished products.
The Office and Plant site, originally located at South
Road, Basak, Cebu City was gutted down by a fire on
December 30, 2000. After the fire, the manufacturing operations
were moved to the 4-hectare Compound of Cebu Cambridge
Footwear, Inc. at Tungkop, Minglanilla.
Islander Footwear Manufacturing Corporation
is the quality footwear maker of Zenco's Islander
and Spartan sandals. The sandals are distributed
throughout the Philippine Islands by Zenco Footsteps,
Incorporated.
The Islander and Spartan sandals produced by the Company are
known for their durability and world-class quality, The company
adheres to its mission: Making quality footwear is what
we do best!
